Alright you guys! This month, my amazing client Jenny (@this_moms_heart) has brought you all the recipe to top all recipes!
As you all know, when on a meal plan that requires you to drop calories, we sometimes have a hard time finding full, satisfying meals that will fit in the plan. Well, talk about a massive meal that won’t put a dent in your progress! The most satisfying thing when on a restrictive plan of any type, is getting that amazing “full” feeling and not having to feel guilty about it!
Volume is the trick! I mean, look at the size of this thing!
The best part is that it has a wonderful mix of proteins, carbs and fats that are ideal for a healthful (and delicious) diet.

Veggie/Protein Variety Bowl
Ingredients:
- Organic Carrots (250g)
- Brussel Sprouts (150g)
- Chicken (4oz)
- Tofu is also an option ! (calorie count will vary)
- Use Trader Joe’s “African Smoke” spice for seasoning *delicious!
- Chili Beans | Better Bean Co. Three Sisters Chili (45g)
- Avocado (30g)
Instructions:
Simple and easy! Roast the carrots and brussel sprouts on a sheet pan with olive oil spray in the oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. While that’s cooking, grill some chicken (or pan-fry some tofu!) with the “African Smoke” spice.
To top it all off, cut up some avocado and place some chili beans on top!
Voila!
